Approach to reduce light field sampling redundancy for flame temperature reconstruction

Flame temperature measurement through a light field camera shows an attractive research interest due to its capabilities of obtaining spatial and angular rays’ information by single exposure. However, the sampling collected is vast most them are redundant. The reconstruction process occupies larger computing memory time-consuming. We propose novel approach i.e., feature rays under-sampling (FRUS) reduce redundancy thus improve efficiency. proposed evaluated numerical experimental studies. Effects methods, flame dividing voxels, noise levels parameters investigated. It has been observed that provides better anti-noise ability can be valuable not only for but also other applications such as particle image velocimetry microscope.
